Zazous Anglais

On what will be our 8th anniversary, the next Beaufort Jazz evening will be on Monday October 4th. To mark the occasion we are very pleased to bring a new act to the Beaufort Jazz stage and announce that Zazous Anglais will be our featured band for the evening.

Inspired by french swing and the iconic jazz era of the 30’s and 40’s, Zazous play gypsy swing with a some considerable flair. Guitarist Neil Harrison can be seen regularly in Europe and has been a frequent performer on the Paris live music scene for some years. Neil has played with many artists including Ninine Garcia, Potsi, Christophe Brunard and Merino at such venues as the Chope des Puces and Au Clarion des Chasseurs in Paris.

Needless to say, we are very pleased to have Zazous Anglais feature and share our anniversary celebrations. Their uplifting and melodic musical style is sure to be popular so Beaufort regulars will definitely want to put this in the diary as one not to be missed.

Zazous Anglais are Neil Harrison – guitar, Mark Knowles – rhythm guitar and Ken Johnston – double bass.

Doors at the Briars Hall Hotel will be open at 7.30pm for an 8pm prompt start so please try to take your seats in good time for the performance. Entry is only the usual £1 to cover costs.

Look forward to seeing you on the 4th!
